We are on a mission
The VDCA can help your organisation solve the ever-increasing cyber skills shortage through tapping into the wealth of experience and transferable behaviours that military veterans typically possess.
Working in partnership with TechVets, VDCA is helping veterans and service leavers into cyber security and technology.
How does it work?
Veterans complete technical challenges (the labs) spun up on demand through the browser, which are available 24/7. This virtual environment enables users to get hands on with real-life cyber scenarios.
Our platform requires any user to fine tune their resilience, resourcefulness and perseverance. These are fundamental characteristics for cyber talent and are typical of military veterans, taking them from cyber novice to ninja as quickly as they dare.
We reward our users with points and badges. The gamification of our platform plays a crucial part to its success as a learning tool. Veterans from across the globe can compete against each other and rise up the leaderboard.

“The competitive nature of the scoreboard helps keep me focused on getting the next win and put in extra effort to get through labs. This has finally paid off, as I recently applied for a cyber role and was successful, something I would not have contemplated without my new skills.”

“Identifying, developing and measuring practical cyber security skills is the great challenge for all companies today. The Immersive Labs approach is the most exciting thing I’ve seen in this space: scalable, agile and appropriate to the way a new generation learns. It has the potential to disrupt and transform this crucial market.”
